The Ultrasonic Level Transmitter is a non-contact type liquid level measuring instrument that uses ultrasonic sound waves to continuously measure the level of liquids, slurries, or solids in tanks and open channels.
It works on the time-of-flight principle — the sensor emits ultrasonic pulses and measures the time it takes for the echo to return from the liquid surface. The built-in microprocessor converts this time into distance, level, and volume readings.
